The Awakening series has quite a journey itself to share.  Growing up I was always guided to write a book but told myself no one would read it.  I am not a famous person or lived any special kind of life so I thought.  I even had friends tell me I ought to write a book.  They would say your life is like a soap opera lol.  It kinda was actually.  Well in 2024, I was finishing a podcast episode and talked with my guest about his book he just wrote.  He told me how it was cathartic and not painful to dredge up painful memories.  I thought to myself perhaps I could use some catharticness in my life.  I sat down and started to write my journey.  I decided to just write and create chapters for certain years of my life and life paths I was on.  I before I knew it had over 15 chapters in the book.  I started to think what if no one wants to read a certain part of the book.  I don't want to force it.  I then was guided to step back from my book from my guides.  A wise choice.  In 2025, I was helping an amazing friend with her book and it got me thinking about looking back at my book.  I looked at the chapters and found myself breaking the book into four parts.  I had no title in mind and no idea how I was going to bring this into reality either.  Selena Ingles and I were talking and she wanted to know if I had an illustrator, cover designer and editor.  I told her no I didn't even think that far ahead yet.  She asked if she could help and our collaboration was born.  You see Selena Ingles is the miracle worker who takes my words and brings them to life for you all to read.  She does amazing illustrations and covers.  I am grateful for her editing as well.  We were getting ready to publish the first book out of my mental order because I felt it was the most ready book to be published.  She asked about the title and I told her still working on it.  She asked if she could toil around with it and I said sure.  She came back with a title and behold the Awakening series unfolded into what you see today.  This series is a four book main series and will be updated as new information comes to add to the books.  What a journey and learning experience being an author has brought me.  I am eternally grateful to Molly, Ryan, Princess Puppy Moon, Selena, my parents, Erica and all who have joined me on this amazing journey.  Here is to more adventures to come.
